Avidin-Nucleic-Acids-Nano-Assembled-System
The ANANAS are a unique kind of of poly-avidin nanoparticles obtained through a process of natural self-assembly which guarantees high composition and performance reproducibility. Each nanoparticle has a diameter of about 120 nm and is composed of about 350 avidins.The nanoparticles ANANAS are analogues of avidin with superior performance, they can be used (alone or in combination with other reactive ANANAS) as tools in the diagnostic laboratory and research use.
Alternatively, the ANANAS are multipurpose platforms for basic research. They can be functionalyzed with multiple biotinylated elements with different properties (eg antibodies, receptors, fluorophores, drugs, peptides ...), that can be placed on their surface at stoichiometrically controlled molar ratios. Depending on the elements inserted, one can obtain nanoparticles with different functional properties.
Systems for high sensitivity immunodetection
The ANANAS reagents and kits for secondary detection have been specifically designed to detect with high sensitivity IgGs of different species, such as mouse, rabbit, goat, human, within multiple color, fluorescent and chemiluminescent immunodiagnostic technologies: ELISA, Western Blot. The ANANAS reagents can also detect any biotinylated molecule, with high sensitivity using a shorter versions of the protocol.With the ANANAS systems is possible to greatly improve the sensitivity of the analysis and reduce the amount of biological material required for the experiment.

This is a case in which the protein is already visible with the classic reagents. In this case, the use of ANANAS reagents allows using less starting material, thus reducing the cost of the analysis and the risk of over-exposure. |
